Descriptions of Our Hand Carved Wooden Animals

Carvwood will endeavor to ensure that the Content and product descriptions for our carved wood art are as accurate and complete as possible. We take great care in describing each piece of artisan wood work. However, we do not warrant that the "Content" and product descriptions for our small wooden figurines are accurate, complete, current, or error-free. If you feel a product offered by Carvwood, such as one of our wood carvings, is not as described, please refer to our Shipping, Exchange, and Warranty Policy. The unique nature of wood carving means slight variations may occur.

Eligibility to Purchase

To place an order with us for our wooden figurines, you must meet the following eligibility criteria:

By placing an order for our wood carved animals, you authorize Carvwood to process a charge or charges on your credit/debit card in the amount of the total purchase price of your order. You also expressly authorize us to use personal information provided by you to perform appropriate anti-fraud checks, such as credit checks, and, where necessary, to transmit or obtain information about you to or from third parties, including but not limited to credit reference or fraud-prevention agencies, which may keep a record of that information. All orders are subject to stock availability and confirmation of the order price. Items in your shopping cart are not reserved and may be purchased by other customers. This Site is for your personal use only. You may not purchase goods, including our wooden animal figurines, from this Site for resale or commercial purposes.

Pricing

Prices are shown on the Site in US Dollars (USD). Unless there is an obvious error, we will honor the price for the wood carving displayed on the Site at the time your order is accepted. While we strive to ensure all prices displayed on the Site are accurate, we cannot guarantee they are completely error-free and reserve the right to correct any errors. If we discover an error in the price of any product you have ordered, such as our hand carved wooden animals, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming or canceling your order. If we are unable to contact you, we will treat the order as canceled.

Payment

We accept payments via Visa, MasterCard, PayPal, and bank deposit.

By placing an order using one of the above credit/debit card or online payment methods, you confirm that the credit/debit card or PayPal account used is yours or that you have been specifically authorized by the owner to use it. If your card issuer refuses to authorize payment to Carvwood, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of your wooden animal decor.

Our payment process meets the stringent international security standards of the Payment Card Industry, ensuring your shopping experience is safe and secure. If you have registered an account on the Site and have decided to save your card information, it will be fully encrypted, used only to process card transactions that you have initiated, and securely stored on our systems. In the absence of negligence on our part, we will not be liable for any loss you may suffer if any third party procures unauthorized access to any data you provide when using our Services.

Customs Duties and Taxes

All prices do not include any taxes or duties in countries outside of Hong Kong. As the recipient, you are liable for all import duties, customs, and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to. Import duty or tax costs will be invoiced to you directly, and payment of these is necessary to release your order of wooden figurines from customs on arrival.

Order Acceptance

Once you have entered your personal and payment details and placed your order, we will send you an email acknowledging the receipt of your order. This email is only a confirmation of receipt and does not constitute an acceptance of your order. Your order is accepted, and a contract between you and Carvwood is formed when we send you an email confirming that the goods, such as the small wooden figurines you ordered, have been dispatched. Only the goods listed in the confirmation email sent at the time of dispatch are included in the contract formed. Consequently, all sales contracts are concluded in Hong Kong SAR and are written in English.

Carvwood reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to refuse to accept an order for any reason. These reasons include, but are not limited to:

• The product you ordered, such as our wood carved animals, is out of stock, has been withdrawn due to not meeting our quality standards, or is subject to applicable shipping restrictions for one or all of the ordered items.
• We identify a pricing or product description error for a piece of artisan wood.
• We are unable to obtain authorization for payment.
• You do not meet the eligibility criteria set out in these TOS.
