his is “Brown Mushroom Inn · Wooden Business Card Holder” by designer Riley for Carvwood. Inspired by “letting the ‘low-key brown mushroom’ in the forest become a gentle organizer on the office desk”, Riley uses natural wood to transform the mushroom shape with a dark brown cap and a natural wood stem into a small carrier that can securely hold business cards. The calmness of dark brown blends with the warmth of natural wood, and the gap just supports business cards. The design concept is “using natural and simple wood art to add a quiet forest texture to business storage” — Placed on the desk, it’s like a mushroom picked from the depths of the forest. It not only quietly stores business cards, but also spreads a relaxed natural atmosphere in the office scene with the simplicity and tenderness of wood, making each time of taking a business card feel like an interaction with a little secret of the forest.
